Iqbal Durrani is BSP candidate for GODDA Constituency

Bollywood Writer and Director Iqbal Durrani is BSP candidate for GODDA Constituency of Jhar Khand . His slogan would be HUM DUM.

He explained his slogan 'Hum Dum' this way : "'Hindu aur Muslim mile to banta hai Hum, aur Dalit aur Muslim mile to banta hai Dum; aur hum dum dono mile jaye to ban jaate hain 'Hum Dum'.

Iqbal Durrani has written scripts and directed several bollywood movies like 'Khuddar', 'Phool Aur Kaante', 'Kaalchakra', 'Shiva', 'Benam Badshah', 'Betaj Badshah', ‘Kohram’ and 'Dhartiputra' .


Godda constituency is at present represented by Furqan Ansari of Congress.

Babulal Marandi's Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) has fielded Pradeep Yadav, at present an MLA from the same area.

Iqbal Durrani is confident that he will win lok sabha election from Godda Constituency with good margin of votes.

Durrani was born in Balwatari, under Banka district of Bihar, close to Jharkhand, but later his family was shifted to Godda where he did his schooling.
