PM likely to visit Maharashtra on Oct 11
New Delhi, Oct 5 (PTI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to visit Maharashtra on October 11 to campaign for Congress nominees in the next week's assembly polls in the state where the party shares power with NCP.
He is also expected to address an election rally in Haryana on October seven and another such meeting in the state later, PMO sources said.
Congress President Sonia Gandhi has already launched her party's campaign in Haryana, where Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda got the Assembly polls advanced by seven months hoping to cash in on the popularity of the party, which bagged nine out of 10 Lok Sabha seats in the state.
