Ram Naik , the veteran politician and senior BJP leader in Maharashtra, is BJP candidate for Mumbai North Lok sabha seat.

Ram Naik has been MP from Mumbai North for 3 times. Ram Naik also served as a Union Cabinet Minister, Petroleum and Natural Gas in 14th Lok sabha during NDA Government 1999 - 2004

Congress has choose Sanjay Nirupam to contest the lok sabha election 2009 from the same Mumbai North constituency.

Ram Naik was born in Sangli , Maharashtra .
