Soma Patel to contest surendranagar seat as congress candidate

Soma bhai patel , MP from Surendra nagar lok sabha seat has joined Congress after suspension from BJP , and will fight the lok sabha election 2009 from the same Surendra nagar constituency on congress ticket.

Soma bhai patel was suspended from BJP as he supported Congress in gujarat assembly election and he also vote in favour of congress lead UPA government in the loksabha during Vote of Confidence.

It should be noted that BJP has given ticket to Lalji Mer a former Congress Man for the same Surendra nagar constituency.
